Nick Keroack Memorial Scholarship
Nick joined the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) in High school and never looked back. He started his apprenticeship in 2010 and completed his welder journeyman certificate at NAIT in 2014. Over this time he worked or contracted for many companies in and around the Edmonton area as well as up north.
Co-workers remember Nick as hardworking, competent, and reliable. He had a sense of humour and was always smiling. He was ambitious and lived life to the fullest. His passions included spending weekends at the lake in his camper, house boating, traveling to the Dominican Republic, Big Valley Jamboree, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Nick was a kind-hearted and generous young man who touched many lives in his short time with us. He was fortunate enough to find his calling as a welder and we hope that this fund provides opportunity to future welding students. This scholarship in memory of Nick will be given to an apprentice welder based on academic performance and financial need.
