When will I get access to my classes in Brightspace?
All credit and apprenticeship enrolled students will gain access to their courses 7 days prior to the official course start date.
What is Brightspace?
Brightspace is NAIT’s new Learning Management System (LMS). It provides a learning platform for your courses, including course materials, resources, assignments, and grades while enabling collaboration with other students and your instructor.
How can I learn to use Brightspace?
All students are added to a Brightspace Basics for Student Success course once they are enrolled into their courses. This is self-paced course will help you get acquainted with the system before you begin your journey at NAIT. If you do not see this course on your Brightspace Dashboard, contact your Program Area for more information.
Can I access Brightspace on my mobile device?
Brightspace offers Brightspace Pulse, available on Google Play and the App Store, which allows students to receive course notifications on the go. The app is not recommended for course activities such as quizzes and assignments as it has some limitations. We recommend using the browser on your device for these activities (Safari on iOS, and Chrome on Android) instead of the Pulse app.
