About Clayton Davis
Clayton joined NAIT in 2005 and has served in various senior administrator roles. He assumed the role of Executive Director, Human Resources in 2014, and was appointed Associate Vice-President, Human Resources and Legal Services in 2021.
Since assuming the role of Interim Vice President, Students, Human Resources and International in June 2025, Clayton has provided steady, collaborative leadership and advanced several initiatives that have strengthened the student experience across our campus, including the commencement of the South Lobby renovation project.
In his role as Vice President, Clayton provides strategic leadership for Student Services, and oversees International, Legal Services, and Human Resources. He champions an inclusive, engaging, student experience while strengthening collaboration across the institution. A core focus of his leadership is to continue to strengthen our connection with students and ensure their voices are heard and reflected at every level of the institution.
Clayton serves as a member of the Alberta Labour Relations Board and formerly chaired Alberta’s Senior Human Resources Officers group, representing post-secondary institutions across the province. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and has contributed to developing future HR professionals as an instructor in NAIT’s Human Resources programs.
