We have a vibrant community of LGBTQ2S+ staff and students at NAIT. We want to offer a space where the community can come together to have discussions and to network. This monthly gathering, held on the third Thursday of each month, is open to anyone from the queer community and to allies supportive of us. Each gathering will be two hours long with the first hour being dedicated to Resource Group discussion of developments and news surrounding gender and sexual minority affairs at NAIT, and the second hour being QUENCH: Queer Lunch, a brown-bag lunch where community members and allies can spend time with others in fellowship, meet peers and colleagues, and share informal news and media in a safer space. Folks are invited to attend the components of most interest or relevance to them so that their time is respected.
