NAIT and the NAIT Academic Staff Association (NASA) bargaining teams have reached a tentative agreement on a new four-year collective agreement, covering the period from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2028.

Reaching a tentative agreement is an important step forward for both parties and provides clarity and stability for the NAIT community. This collective agreement values the contributions of our academic employees while keeping NAIT focused on teaching, learning, and supporting students without disruption, now and in the years ahead.
Next steps
The agreement will move to ratification, with votes to be held by NASA members and NAIT’s Board of Governors. Both bargaining committees are recommending approval. The agreement will take effect once it has been ratified by both parties. Voting is expected to occur in the coming weeks, and updates will be shared on this website as results become available.
