NAIT is incredibly grateful to the Government of Alberta for its continued support in Budget 2026.
As Alberta’s largest provider of trades training, NAIT plays a vital role in preparing the province’s skilled workforce. The Province’s investment in the Advanced Skills Centre will further expand NAIT’s training capacity—enabling us to prepare 5,500 more Albertans for rewarding, in‑demand careers in the trades.
For students, this means more access to hands‑on, industry‑aligned training that supports their long‑term success. For employers, it strengthens the pipeline of skilled talent. And for Alberta, it helps build a workforce ready to meet the province’s growing need for essential skilled trades professionals.
We look forward to advancing this project in collaboration with government, industry partners, and the NAIT community.
