Apply early

Most NAIT programs have a limited number of seats available. So applying early gives you the best chance to secure your seat in your preferred program!

Applications open

Fall (September start)	October 1	August 1
Winter (January start)	March 1	January 1
Spring (May start)	June 1	April 1

Note that Application open dates apply to the following year. For example, if you’re a domestic student applying for Fall 2024, applications would open October 1, 2023.

When do applications close

Applications will stay open for a minimum of one month after the opening dates mentioned above. However, applications may close any time after that if the program and waitlist are full.

If a program has seats available, applications will remain open until the start date of the program. 

Program statuses can change quickly depending on application volume and demand. We recommend that you apply as early as possible.
