Need help with tuition and living costs? Government student loans and grants can be a great option to finance your education. If you're in an apprenticeship, degree, diploma, certificate or open studies program, you may be eligible to apply for financial aid options:
- To be eligible, you must be a Canadian citizen, have permanent resident status or protected person status under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
- The steps to apply may vary based on your program, province or whether you’re a full-time or part-time student.

Awards
There are a variety of awards available to you as a NAIT student, including scholarships, bursaries, grants, entrance and general awards. Some awards are given out based on academic achievement, while others recognize financial need, leadership, diversity, program of study and more!
Once the awards application opens in MyAwards Central, you’ll answer questions to receive a tailored list of award opportunities based on you and your program of study. It’s a simple way to apply and get support for your next year of studies!

NAIT has different award application periods and deadlines for each student group. Be sure to complete and submit your award application before the application deadline. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
