Visit campus and discover the NAIT community

Visiting NAIT for a campus tour gives you an opportunity to learn more about the spaces and services that contribute to NAIT’s vibrant student life.

CAT Building

Tours for individuals and families

We offer a self-guided tour route for individuals and families to explore campus at their convenience.  Your self-guided tour includes stops at NAIT’s most important centres for student services and student life. We encourage you to experience the spaces where you’ll spend a lot of time as a NAIT student, so feel free to grab lunch at bytes in the HP Centre, or stop for a quick break in the NAITSA Student Lounge in the Centre for Applied Technology (CAT).

Stop by our Student Service Centre in CAT if you have questions about NAIT’s programs and how to become a NAIT student. Our Student Service Specialists can answer questions about fees, admissions, courses, and more, and they can also book you in for an advising appointment if you need help with career or education planning. Contact the Student Service Centre or book an advising appointment.

Group tours

We offer bookable tours for organized school or community groups on select days between mid-October and the end of June.

Information session

Group campus tours are typically two hours long and start with a short NAIT presentation. During the presentation, we provide information about polytechnic education, NAIT programs and admission requirements, student life, and more.

Walking tour of campus

Following the presentation, attendees will go on a walking tour of main campus. The tour focuses on centres for student life and student services and does not include program-specific lab tours or hands-on activities. We encourage individuals and groups interested in program exploration to attend Open House, Program Previews, or Student for a Day.

Self-guided tours

Walking tours may be self-guided or led by current NAIT students. While we make every effort to provide guided tours, student tour guide availability fluctuates throughout the year. Tour guides may not be available during exam periods. We will confirm the format of your walking tour as part of the booking process.
