Course Overview

Successful digital transformation requires more than adopting new technologies. It begins with optimizing existing processes. This course introduces participants to industry-recognized process improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement (CI), with a focus on aligning these methods to support digital and AI initiatives. Participants will examine how to map, analyze, and refine processes to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce waste, and prepare for automation or intelligent augmentation. With the knowledge gained in this course, you will be able to align process thinking with digital strategy to improve readiness for transformation and AI adoption.

  • Remote Independent: Where: Online anytime. When: No set class meetings. Coursework is accessed on-demand and online, with no instructor support. While students choose when to do coursework, there may be set due dates and deadlines.
