Course Overview

This course prepares pilots for Transport Canada Level 1 Complex RPAS operations, including Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) missions and higher Specific Assurance and Integrity Levels (SAIL). Learners develop advanced competencies in regulatory compliance, airspace integration, quantitative risk assessment (GRC/ARC), CONOPS development, emergency response planning, and Crew Resource Management (CRM).

The course culminates in a simulated Transport Canada Complex Flight Review, including oral examination preparation, documentation review, and practical flight assessment aligned with TP 15395E performance criteria.

Day 1, 2, and 3 – Ground School, RPAS Final Assessment (in-class)
Day 4 – Flight Review (off-campus, arranged by the instructor when the weather permits, or an alternate date will be scheduled)
