Course Overview

Want to find out what all the quantum fuss is about? Quantum technologies use quantum properties and materials, such as atoms, ions, photons, or superconducting circuits, etc., to do a task (i.e. computing, sensing, secure communication, random number generation). The ripple effect from these technologies becoming commercialized could disrupt every industry, which is why governments around the globe are encouraging businesses to start developing quantum literacy. This 2-hr course introduces fundamental concepts in quantum physics relevant to today’s quantum industry. Learners will explore what properties exist in the quantum world that can be manipulated for disruptive quantum technology. Please note that this course is offered by NAIT in partnership with Qubo Consulting Corp. Accordingly, this outline originates from (was created by) Qubo Consulting Corp.
