Course Overview
Quantum sensors are revolutionizing how industries approach challenges by offering unparalleled sensitivity, as well as powerful navigation and timing, compared to classical sensors. By leveraging quantum properties such as atoms and quantum light, these sensors open doors to innovative applications. This 2-hour technical course highlights the distinctions between different quantum sensing platforms (quantum magnetometers, accelerometers, gravimeters), the special quantum properties that make these technologies so powerful, and the current development/use cases in the field (i.e. level of maturity, expected availability).
