Course Overview

This final course in the Agentic AI Foundation Certificate allows learners to apply all concepts, frameworks, and design patterns learned in previous courses to develop a functional prototype of an agentic AI system. The course begins with a recap session covering core agentic concepts including agents, tools, memory, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), MCP (Model Context Protocol), and collaboration patterns. Students then participate in a “Vibe Coding” kickoff session, using natural language prompts to ideate and rapidly prototype creative system ideas before selecting a guided capstone project template to develop further. Working in small teams, students will design, build, and demonstrate an agentic AI system that integrates key patterns such as tool use, memory, orchestration, and evaluation. Teams will document their process, explain their design rationale, and present their working prototype in a short final demo session. Prerequisites: Successful completion of the following courses: CCTP480 - AI Literacy, LLMs & Agentic Concepts CCTP481 - Building Your First AI Agent CCTP482- Agent Tools, Collaboration & Architecture Please note that this course is offered by NAIT in partnership with a third party. Accordingly, this outline originates from a third party.
