Course Overview

Building on the HTML and CSS skills you developed, this course takes your knowledge further and focuses on creating more professional web pages. You'll work with more detailed page structure and styling techniques, with an emphasis on writing cleaner code and making design choices that align with real-world web standards.

The course also introduces practical SEO fundamentals and shows you how to use meta elements more effectively. You'll learn how to structure pages to support discoverability and readability, and how to apply metadata that helps search engines and users interpret your content.

On the CSS side, you'll expand your toolkit with more advanced styling and layout features. Topics include working with external fonts and icons, using transitions and basic animations for interactive feedback, and using Flexbox and Grid to build modern layouts. You'll also use pseudo-classes and pseudo-elements to enhance design, and apply media queries to create responsive pages that adapt across devices.

With the skills gained in this course, you'll be able to build more complex page layouts and begin planning a personal portfolio page that you'll continue developing in the next course.
