Course Overview
Modern websites are built with more than clean layouts and good styling. They rely on efficient workflows, reliable hosting, and professional practices that help developers build, ship, and maintain projects over time. In this course, you'll take a more professional approach to web development by learning the tools and routines developers use to plan, organize, and maintain real websites.
The course introduces modern development practices for managing projects, improving consistency, and reducing errors. You'll work with common tools used in professional workflows, practise maintaining a clean project structure, and build habits that support long-term updates and improvements. You'll also publish your work online and practise updating and maintaining a live site.
Alongside these practices, you'll explore a selection of modern CSS features and practices that support cleaner and more organized styling. Topics include variables, native nesting, scroll-driven animations, and anchor positioning for common UI patterns. By the end, you'll have a set of pages published online and workflow you can use to continue building and maintaining projects more effectively.
