Course Overview
Construction Planning and Scheduling introduces you to the process of analyzing proposed construction work, and preparing logical project execution plans. From the project execution plan, you will then prepare realistic time based project schedules. Extensive practice will be offered in developing construction project network diagram schedules using precedence diagram/critical path methods as used in the construction industry. Both manual methods and computer project planning software (MS Project) will be discussed. The skills obtained in this course will allow you to develop a schedule for a construction project and prepare related project progress reports.
Students without significant experience in the construction industry are strongly encouraged to complete CEAC110 before registering.
