Course Overview
Colonization has a long history and shows up in different ways within the workplace that can often be detrimental to EDI efforts. Unlearning and undoing such dynamics takes time, but it is possible to move towards the concept of decolonizing the workplace. Participants, in this course will learn what these concepts and principles mean as well as the history and legacy of decolonization, particularly in our workplace practices and approaches. Participants in this course will also examine barriers to decolonization in the workplace and finally will look at decolonization practices and processes within the workplace to move towards equitable and inclusive outcomes.
