Renew your life-saving skills and knowledge in this Heart & Stroke Foundation’s Standard First Aid Level C recertification course. Practice the methods of assessing the scene, performing CPR and automated external defibrillation, and providing recovery until emergency medical services arrive. Skills gained in this course will allow you to treat airway emergencies; cardiac arrest; bleeding lacerations; head and spine injuries; fractures; and bone, muscle, and joint stresses during realistic scenarios for one- and two-person providers.
Students will practice these skills on each other and using state of the art mannequins. If students have physical limitations that may affect participation within the course, please contact email@example.com.
Prerequisite: Student must provide a valid Heart & Stroke Foundation Standard First Aid Level C card 3 days prior to the start date of the course to firstname.lastname@example.org.
