Course Overview
Air source heat pumps (ASHPs) are an increasingly popular method for efficiently heating and cooling buildings while reducing emissions. This course introduces learners to the fundamentals of ASHPs, including how they work, system types and configurations, sizing and design considerations, installation processes, and basic troubleshooting practices. With the knowledge gained in this course, you will be able to support the assessment, design preparation, and implementation of heat pump systems in residential or light commercial settings.
