Course Overview
Hydronic systems use water or vapour to distribute heat or cooling efficiently through a closed-loop network of pipes. This course introduces the foundational concepts of hydronic design, including blueprint interpretation, heat transfer principles, and residential heat loss calculations. Participants will explore boiler technologies, construction methods, and system planning considerations essential to safe, effective hydronic system design.
The skills gained in this course will enable you to analyze design requirements and complete the first of three Hydronic Designer exams. You will have 4 months to complete this core of modules and write your exam.
