Course Overview

This level 2 course will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully bridge into the HVACR fulltime program. Upon successfully completing the HVACR Technician program you will be able to challenge the AIT 1st and 2nd period apprenticeship exams. Important hands-on skills developed in level 2 include the use of computer aided drafting software, natural gas and propane handling, gas piping and fitting installation methods. Also included is the proper preparation of business documents and the development of your professional profile, as well as an introduction to building automation and sustainable HVACR systems. A wallet card certificate will be issued to successful candidates.

  • Remote Independent: Where: Online anytime. When: No set class meetings. Coursework is accessed on-demand and online, with no instructor support. While students choose when to do coursework, there may be set due dates and deadlines.
