The Lean Foundations program equips organizations with the essential tools to stay competitive, innovative, and operationally efficient in today's demanding business environment. This 3-course program introduces participants to the core principles of Lean, the eight sources of waste, and the difference between value‑added and non‑value‑added activities. Through interactive simulations and practical exercises, learners build a strong foundation in Lean concepts while gaining firsthand experience applying fundamental tools and techniques in real‑world scenarios.
Through 35 hours of training, participants progress from Lean basics to advanced problem‑solving and applied project execution using PDCA and A3 methodologies. By learning how to identify organizational inefficiencies, implement sustainable solutions, and lead improvement initiatives, attendees emerge prepared to drive measurable results within manufacturing, service, or transactional environments. With its focus on practical application, structured learning, and long‑term performance improvement, NAIT's Lean Foundations program empowers professionals at any level to make an immediate and lasting impact on workplace performance.
