What is a microcredential?

A microcredential is a certification that recognizes specific skills, learning outcomes or competencies that are valued by industry and employers. A skill is a specific learned activity, whereas a competency is a combination of knowledge, skills and behaviours, and includes not only “what you do”, but “how you do it”. NAIT issues one microcredential, in the form of a digital badge, for each competency or learning outcome.

Microcredentials FAQ

What is a digital badge?

How do I share my digital badge?

Once you have completed your course, you will receive an email from Credly with instructions on how to download your digital badge.
