NAIT United Way Campaign

NAIT’s United Way Campaign was held November 18 to December 6, 2024. All proceeds and donations raised will help us do local good and remove barriers to education across the greater Edmonton region.

At NAIT, strong communities are the foundation for ensuring that everyone can succeed. Many individuals and families have limited resources and opportunities to change their situation without supports for basic needs, coaching, training, mental health challenges, and other empowerment programming. United Way of the Alberta Capital Region takes a systems-wide approach to collaborate and deliver local programs and services that address the root causes of poverty and helps people overcome barriers to their success.

2024 Fund-raising Goal Achieved!

A big thank you to the NAIT community that rallied to help Edmonton’s vulnerable. You pushed our United Way campaign past this year’s goal!

You helped us break our goal of raising $25,000 for the United Way of the Alberta Capital Region, raising an unofficial total of $26,404! That’s a jump of almost $8,000 from 2023.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions and participation in NAIT’s United Way campaign. Your support reflects NAIT’s values in action. We all know that financial insecurity is a growing barrier for our community, which is why NAIT partners each year with the United Way to create equitable opportunities for accessing education, financial stability, and supports for mental health and well-being.

Congratulations to our lucky winners!

Jenelle King won the Oilers Prize Pack Raffle prize of two tickets to the December 16 Stanley Cup rematch between the Edmonton Oilers and the visiting Florida Panthers, along with other prizes. The raffle raised $1,350 for the United Way. And Shana Wilson took home the 50/50 jackpot. The jackpot rose to $1,924, with the United Way and Shana splitting the pot at $962 each.
