Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) offers a wide range of training and educational services designed to equip staff and contractors with the essential knowledge, skills, and confidence to ensure safe working practices.

How to register for a course

Staff

Log in to the Staff Portal. Go to either:

• Course Catalogue to enrol in sessions that are relevant to you
• HSE Training page to see all HSE training available with summaries.

Contractors

1. Self-register on the NAIT Contractors Portal.

2. Complete the assigned course (HSS900 or HSS910).

3. Download and save the Record of Completion certificate.

4. Present proof of completion to obtain the required keys, permits, or a One AT NAIT card.

How to complete self-paced/virtual courses in Brightspace:

1. Log into Brightspace: The course will be listed in your Dashboard under course offerings.
   • Note: Always ensure you complete the latest version of the training.
2. Complete all pages: Open the course and ensure you complete all the pages.
3. Completion email: You should receive an automated email from donotreply@nait.ca with the subject line “Course Completed.” Please retain that email for your records.
