Graduates of this one-year, full-time certificate program will develop foundational knowledge in the application of IoT including system implementation, change management, integrating sensors and gathering data securely to improve business operations.

This full-time certificate program is designed exclusively for working professionals seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge in the Internet of Things (IoT), or for employers interested in upskilling their staff.

Gain Practical Experience with On-the-job Training

The program provides an immersive learning experience by combining in-class instruction with on-the-job training. A minimum of 51% of learning (often more) will take place in the workplace, requiring students to participate in hours consistent with full-time programming.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be equipped with the foundational skills and knowledge in IoT, including:

  • IoT Fundamentals: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the basics of IoT, including system implementation, change management and integrating sensors.
  • Connected Devices: Understand the development and deployment of connected devices that are critical to the IoT ecosystem.
  • IoT Networking: Learn about the various networking protocols and technologies used in IoT, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular networks.
  • Data Management: Discover the best practices for collecting, storing, and analyzing data from IoT devices.
  • IoT Security: Get up to date on the latest security concerns in IoT.
