Improve your knowledge of basic machining. This course is intended for students with little or no CNC machining experience. Students will be introduced to basic theory and experience hands-on practice in the operations of a vertical machining centre. Additional areas of study include:
• work holding and tool holding devices
• machine orientation
• job set-up
Students will have to pass a practical test.
Prerequisite: MAC50
