Improve your knowledge of basic turning centre operations. This course is intended for students with little or no CNC machining experience. Students will be introduced to basic theory and experience hands-on practice in the operations of a turning centre. Additional areas of study include:
• work holding and tool holding devices
• machine orientation
• job set-up
Students will have to pass a practical test.
Prerequisite: MAC50
