CLXT1360 - Adaptive Radiography and Imaging of the Chest and Abdomen
Students will learn radiographic positioning techniques for the chest, abdomen and digestive system. The laboratory sessions will provide practice with adaptive radiographic procedures based on various patient conditions. Students will critique radiographic images which includes identifying soft tissues, skeletal structures and recognizing pathologies.
This course is available to students in the Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology program. Prerequisites: CLXT1101, CLXT1260. Co-requisites: CLXT1322, CLIC1313. A completion grade of C- in all prerequisite courses is required to enroll.
