ELTR1201 - Circuits II: Active Circuits
This lab-lecture course focuses on active circuits and their applications. Major course topics include: transistor switching and amplification, linear op-amp applications, and frequency-response analysis for amplifiers and filters. Uses of filtering and stabilization capacitors as well as feedback-design for circuit stability are also covered. Manufacturer’s datasheets are used throughout the course for circuit design, analysis, and testing. Design exercises are used to emphasize selected course topics.
This course is available to students in the Electronics Engineering Technology and Electronics Engineering Technology Co-op program. Prerequisites: ELTR1101, ELTR1111, MATH1103. Co-Requisite: COMM1239.
