The Emergency Management Program will give you the skills necessary to ensure your organization can mitigate against and respond to major emergencies and disasters effectively. This diploma program includes 19 online courses and one capstone project. Comprehensive course work covers the full range of the mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery pillars of emergency and disaster management.

NAIT's Emergency Management diploma program embodies flexible learning pathways. Students may enroll as a part-time, full-time or Open Studies student.Please note that all Emergency Management courses are three credits. Open studies tuition rates apply to students taking Emergency Management courses who are not enrolled in the Emergency Management Diploma program.
Graduates can expect to find employment in the public sector, private sector, non-profit or in industry sectors including oil and gas, energy generation and transmission, forestry, and transportation.
