Fees and Expenses
Payment Options
- Online on the MyNAIT student portal - Credit card payments only
- Internet and Telebanking at participating banks. Allow 3 to 4 business days for the payment to be processed.
- In person at the Cash Office: Room O114, 11762 – 106 Street, Edmonton, T5G 2R1
If paying by debit card, ensure your daily limit is adequate to pay your fees
- By phone at 780.471.6248 – credit card payments only (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) Press # 2, then # 1.
- Drop box (located on the west side of the Cash Office) – cheque only
- Wire Transfers for International Students – please contact mailto:DARIIMAK@nait.ca for detailed instructions. All Wire Transfers must include the NAIT Student ID number. Wire Transfers may be rejected if NAIT is unable to identify the applicable student.
Note:
- NAIT does not accept post-dated cheques.
- Credit card information should not be e-mailed or faxed to NAIT. It is best to contact NAIT during business hours and provide your credit card information at the time of payment.
- International students that send a prepayment to NAIT for future fees, and then do not formally apply to NAIT within 18 months of the receipt the funds, will receive a refund of the payment minus a $250 (CAD) administrative fee.
Semester Service Fee
If you pay your fees by semester, an additional fee of $100 will be assessed to your acount and due with the second term's fees.
Sponsored students
When a Canadian student presents a written undertaking addressed to NAIT by his/her employer or other party agreeing to pay his/her fees and charges, such sponsor(s) shall be charged fees in accordance with the fee schedule.
International sponsored students have their total program training fees set by NAIT's International Recruitment.
Where a fee is not paid by the sponsoring agency, it shall be the responsibility of the student.
In the case of sponsored Canadian students and those receiving federal or provincial government student loan assistance, the refund of fees shall be made to the appropriate sponsoring agency. Refunds for international sponsored students are calculated by NAIT's International Recruitment.
