The Cook program will train you to prepare wholesome and high-quality food, produce pastries and desserts common to the food service industry, grade and classify meat, fish and poultry, and determine menu costs.

Cooks are employed at diverse levels in private and public eating establishments, including hotels, restaurants, institutions, resorts, transportation companies, catering and private enterprise. They have the opportunity to advance to positions as sous-chefs, chefs and executive chefs.
Graduates of the Cook apprenticeship program will also have the skills to be able to supervise, train and coach future apprentices.
