Building Technologies II: Building Envelope Construction

Requisites: This course is available to students in the Architectural Technology program. Prerequisite: ARCT1211. Co-Requisite: ARCT2301.

This course enables students to expand their technical knowledge related to detailing the building envelope. Emphasis will be placed on structural steel framing and its relationship to cavity wall construction and glazed curtain wall. The selection and placement of products and materials for these details will be explored.
