Understanding how malicious hackers and cybercriminals compromise computers and networks is just half the battle in enterprise security. In this course, students will utilize the knowledge they acquired in BAIS3340 Ethical Hacking to develop practical strategies to defend against network hacking. Students will learn to implement both open source and Cisco security technologies including advanced ACLs, firewalls, intrusion detection, and forensics.
