To produce accurate transcripts of the spoken word, it is essential to have a strong understanding of English grammar, punctuation, and mechanics principles. This course reinforces and builds upon the concepts covered in CACR1141 in addition to providing students with an in-depth study of punctuation, capitalization, and number rules court reporters use and apply to the spoken word. Spelling, vocabulary, and proofreading development will also be studied.
