Requisites: This course is available to students in the Chemical Engineering Technology program. Prerequisite: CHEM1105.

This course introduces the students to laboratory testing of petroleum samples using standard methods. Laboratory work includes the analysis of physical and chemical properties of petroleum and petroleum products using ASTM methods, and the analysis of hydrocarbon samples by gas chromatography.
