Requisites: This course is available to students in the Chemical Engineering Technology program that have completed Level 1. Prerequisites: CHME2320, CHME2380, MATE1265.

This course emphasizes solving engineering projects involving process design and equipment specification utilizing both hand calculations and computer aided engineering software packages. Teamwork skills are strengthened by operating as a member of a process design team for assignments, process design reviews and design projects. Process simulation software (HYSYS) will be used with a focus on process design and optimization
