Requisites: This course is available to students in the Instrumentation Engineering Technology or Instrumentation Engineering Technology Co-op program. Prerequisite: INST1110. Co-requisite: MATH1255.

This course identifies the operation of industrial controllers and the characteristics of industrial processes. Topics include: feedback control loop block diagram, PID, offset, reset-windup, process transfer functions, frequency response, Bode plots, and configuration of a SLDC.
