Baking & Pastry requires the student to understand the many different chemical reactions of ingredients and the precision of formulations. Students in this course learn the fundamentals of baking and decorating. Students also apply techniques required to produce yeast products, cookies, quick breads, cakes & icings, pies and pastries.
