This course is focused on the installation and configuration of two different website hosting solutions: LAMP and WISA. Students will learn how to install and configure Microsoft Windows Server, along with Internet Information Services (IIS) Web Server, Microsoft SQL Database Server, and ASP.NET (WISA). Students will also learn how to install and configure a Linux server running an Apache web server, MySQL database server, and PHP (LAMP). Topics such as security, maintenance and best practices will be discussed and applied throughout the course.
