Successful businesses make effective use of data they have when making decisions. This course introduces the subject of Business Intelligence. An introduction to types of databases and use of data as well as basic techniques to compile and integrate data in a business intelligence solution will be covered. Using industry standard tools students will design and implement various components of a business intelligence solution including creating a data mart, the ETL process, multi-dimensional cube, and reports.
