Students learn concepts relating to the arterial and venous peripheral vascular systems including anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, normal and pathological presentations, and the diagnostic studies used for evaluation of these vessels. Active participation in laboratory settings reinforce scanning techniques and require students to perform basic assessments of these vessels.
