Students will examine the roles and responsibilities of an Electrical Engineering Technologist in a design environment. Students will receive an introduction to the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) with instruction on specific rules and tables in the CEC that relate to an electrical design scenario. Students will study and apply AutoCAD to create typical electrical distribution drawings while employing either metric or imperial measurement systems. Students will interpret and analyze electrical drawing.
