This course includes transformer theory and connections of single phase transformers. An evaluation of transformers by performing polarity, open circuit, and short circuit tests in order to determine equivalent circuits, efficiency and voltage regulation. Connections and operation of autotransformers, instrument transformers and ANSI standard three phase transformer banks will also be included.
