In the final Embedded Systems course, students specify processing and control requirements for an original embedded system, select a suitable microcontroller, and develop prototype hardware and firmware for the system. Soft skills are also addressed through the development of a project plan and creation of required technical documents. Other course topics include the development and implementation of performance tests for hardware and firmware.
