Students will apply and expand skills acquired in the previous communications course to work with information relevant to the field of Civil Engineering. Topics include research methods, meetings, reports, and oral presentations. Students will also learn applied research skills needed for a technical project to be completed in the second year of the program. These skills include proposal and report writing, research, documentation, and technical presentation.
