This course develops safety skills required in the forest industry. As part of this course students will receive training in defensive driving, chainsaw operation, bear awareness and avoidance, wilderness survival and All-Terrain Vehicle use. In addition, students will learn maintenance skills for vehicles, equipment and field camps along with requirements for worksite safety.
