This course introduces the techniques and procedures of forest measurements acquisition and data capture within the forest industry. Skills will be developed in the areas of equipment usage and maintenance, Alberta Third System of Survey, measurement processes and procedures, crew efficiency, data collection and recording, field map and aerial photography use, map scale, basic statistical compilation and analysis, as well as project management development.
